The 3DR Radio "Air" unit is part of the new telemetry system offered by 3D Robotics; it works in conjunction with another 433Mhz air module to offer a 2-way half duplex wireless communication system.  Its design is based off the HM-TRP modules from HopeRF along with a completely new firmware to optimize its performance, SiK.
We recommend using this antenna for the 433 Mhz radio modules.
